Are fines preventing you from checking out books?

Teens can sign up for our fines-reduction program, check out books again, and reduce overdue fines by up to $10. Ask at the upstairs Information Desk.

Don’t have fines??

Read at least 400 pages and receive a pizza buck + movie pass from Third Street Pizza and Moonlight Theater. Sign up at the Information Desk or register at maclibrary.beanstack.org.

If the teen records pages exceeding 200, the teen will receive his/her choice of: a $5-off fines coupon OR a 3rd Street Pizza Buck.
If the teen records pages exceeding 400, the teen will receive his/her choice of: a second $5-off fines coupon (making it $10 total) OR a Moonlight Theater Movie Pass.

After you've finished a book, or as many pages as you're going to read, sign into Beanstack:
*Click on "The Log,"
*Click "Add to The Log,"
*Use the drop-down menu to select "pages" in the "Log by" box,
*Fill in the author and title boxes about the book and the number of pages you've read from that book,
*Beanstack will notify you with a badge when you've met a reading goal.
