Mac Makerspace

COME GET CREATIVE!

Mac Makerspace is a collaborative project with the McMinnville Parks and Recreation Department and the McMinnville Public Library and is located at the McMinnville Community Center.  

Makerspace is now open for reservations! Individuals or small groups can reserve a time to make, create, and get crafty all for FREE! Call (503) 434-7310 or email parksusr@mcminnvilleoregon.gov to reserve your time today!

People 16+ can make reservations. Children, ages 15 and under, can utilize the Makerspace with a responsible caregiver. 

 

Makerspace Features/Amenities

  • Arts & Crafts (Paints, fabrics, felt, glassware, origami, craft kits, etc)
  • 3-D Building Supplies (Legos, K’Nex, Marble Run, etc)
  • Art & Craft How To Books.

Guidelines

  • Makerspace users will follow the City of McMinnville Code of Conduct as well as Makerspace guidelines.
  • Respect the space. Be kind to all people and be gentle with the equipment, supplies, and space.
  • Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Use the materials that you need. Reduce waste. Leave usable materials for the next person.
  • Clean up. Leave your work area cleaner than you found it; it is everyone’s responsibility to keep the Makerspace clean.
  • Maintain the organization. Tools and supplies are organized. Return materials to where you found them.
  • Have an accident? Clean it up promptly! Ask a volunteer to help if needed.
