The purpose of this program is to allow a property owner or manager to authorize officers to enter onto their property for the purpose of enforcing trespass laws against individuals who are trespassing on the property when there is no responsible party on site.
During a recent death investigation, a McMinnville police officer discovered that the deceased was a veteran. In an effort to show respect, both to the deceased veteran and to the surviving family, this officer left the scene, purchased a national flag and returned to the residence. The flag was placed respectfully over the deceased veteran for the transport from the residence to the funeral home.

The purpose of this program is to allow business owners or managers to report cold shoplift/theft/criminal mischief incidents and submit their report, along with any evidence, to the police department for follow up.
Crime rates are calculated on the number of crimes divided by the population of a given geographical area. Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) is divided into three offense categories: Crimes against Persons, Crimes against Property and Behavioral Crimes.
