Softball Pitching Clinics:

These sessions are perfect for players who want to try pitching for the first time or those looking to sharpen their skills with additional instruction. Pre-registration required. 

Coach Payton, who will be leading the clinics, is a former pitcher from McMinnville High School. She earned the starting pitcher role as a freshman and was named Conference Pitcher of the Year twice during her high school career (2017,2019). After graduation, she went on to compete at the Division 1 level, playing for both the University of Louisville and East Carolina University.

Please note: Each pitcher must provide their own catcher. This can be a parent, sibling, or another player.

Grades: 3rd-5th
Fee: $12/$15 each

2025 Leagues

• T-ball – Pre-K (Coed)                                                                   $60 resident,  $70 non-resident
• Coach-Pitch – Kindergarten (Coed)                                        $60 resident,  $70 non-resident
• Rookie SB – 1st/2nd grade                                                         $80 resident,  $90 non-resident
• Majors SB – 3rd/4th/5th grade                                                 $80 resident,  $90 non-resident
• Middle School SB – 6th/7th/8th grade                                   $80 resident,  $90 non-resident

Games will begin on May 31 and end on July 19. Teams will be scheduled for 8 games. All games will take place at Joe Dancer Park (Middle School Softball may play games in Sherwood and Gaston). Players will be contacted by coaches with practice information after the coaches meeting listed above.

McMinnville Parks and Recreation will provide T-ball players with team shirt and hat. Rookie, Majors, and Middle School players will be provided with socks, pants, shirt, and hat. Players need to provide their own glove and batting helmet.
