PARKINSON'S MOVEMENT

This weekly class is designed to address issues and symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease. It will include stretching, strengthening, and balance in a friendly environment filled with plenty of interaction and humor! BALLROOM DANCING

Dance instructors, Janine & Harold Loder will be offering different Ballroom Dance classes for beginners.  Each class is designed with easy progression for you and your partner (partner required).  Register early; space is limited.  Janina and Harold are member of the International Round Dance Teachers Association with many years of dance / teaching experience.

 

SLOW TWO-STEP

Two Step is danced to easy beat of country music; incorporates simple steps and rotating figures in cheerful manner.

BEGINNING COUNTRY LINE DANCING

Join us on the dance floor and have some Boot Scootin’ fun!  You will learn “simple” pattern line dances and get a great workout too! We laugh almost as much as we dance and we dance a lot!

BETTER BONES & BALANCE

This program is based on research from Oregon State University’s Bone Research Laboratory. Classes are to gradually improve balance and strength to avoid falls, maintain independence and reduce the risk of osteoporosis-related fractures. Participants have experienced improved strength, balance, mobility, reduced bone loss compared to non-exercising participants. Class registration in advance is required.

YOGA

Enjoy a non-vigorous and relaxing practice.  Discover intentional breathing and increased flexibility, develop proper pose alignment and start to rediscover your body.  This class accepts Silver & Fit.

YOGA - Stretch and Balance

Yoga stretch and balance is a class for all levels, no prior yoga experience is needed.  This class includes a dynamic range of motion, breathing exercises to increase lung capacity and decrease tension, simple exercises to improve balance and standing strength, and stretching to improve flexibility.

FUN & FIT

Increase strength, flexibility, balance and endurance in an energetic way by doing a variety of movements in a circuit training formation.  Tools used include kettle bells, step, bosu, hurdles, stability ball, dumb bells and resistance bands.  This class accepts Silver & Fit.

SHUFFLEBOARD

Drop-in for an afternoon of shuffleboard fun. Depending on the weather, we will set the courts outside on the patio.  All equipment is provided.

McMinnville Cranks Biking Group

Join us each week as we explore the endless opportunities that recreational bicycling has to offer. These rides will be easy to moderate around the local area and cover 20 to 40 miles. Easy Riders Biking Group

Dust off the pedals, pump up the tires, grease the chain and hit the road. This riding group is one where you can cruise with a little less intensity on rides covering 10 to 12 miles in the McMinnville area.  A bicycle safety helmet is required.
