COUNCIL SNAPSHOT FOR JANUARY 09, 2024

The McMinnville City Council met on January 09, 2024 and took the following actions:

Approved Resolutions:

2024-03: Appointing Members for the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.  (Point of Contact: Noelle Amaya, Communications & Engagement Manager)

2024-01: Authorizing the City Manager to sign a contract with Chemeketa Community College in the amount of $146,000 for Pre-Apprenticeship and Hospitality Certification Programs for the City of McMinnville's Business Recovery and Resiliency Grant. (Point of Contact: Jody Christensen, Projects Manager)

2024-02: Authorizing the City Manager to amend a contract with McMinnville Economic Development Partnership in the amount of $248,400 for coordination of Sustainable, Localized Workforce Programs in association with McMinnville's Business Recovery and Resiliency Grant. (Point of Contact: Jody Christensen, Projects Manager)

In other business: 

Approved OLCC Application request from The Compass McMinnville for Limited on-premises.  

City Council met in Executive Session pursuant to ORS 192.660 (2)(f): To consider information or records that are exempt by law from public inspection; pursuant to ORS 192.660 (2)(n)(d): To discuss information about review or approval of programs relating to the security of any of the following: Telecommunication systems, including cellular, wireless or radio systems; AND pursuant to ORS 192.660 (2)(n)(e): To discuss information about review or approval of programs relating to the security of any of the following: Data transmissions by whatever means provided
