COUNCIL SNAPSHOT FOR FEBRUARY 10, 2026

The McMinnville City Council met on February 10, 2026 and took the following actions:

 

REMOVED both items on the Consent Agenda will be brought back at a future agenda.

 

Resolution 2026-06 will be brought back to City Council at a future date: Resolution adopting a policy for media attendance at executive sessions (Point of Contact: David Ligtenberg, City Attorney)

 

Approved Resolutions:

2026-07: Resolution authorizing the Human Resources and City Attorney to Enter into Contract Negotiations with Interim City Manager Adam Garvin (Point of Contact: Vicki Hedges, Human Resources Director)

2026-09: Resolution authorizing the City of McMinnville to participate as a co-sponsor in a county-wide business survey (Point of Contact: Adam Garvin, Interim City Manager)

 

Approved Ordinances:

Ordinance No. 5170: Adopting as amendments to the November 2023 Housing Needs Analysis, the September 2024 Economic Opportunities Analysis, and the December 2025 Framework Plan. (Point of Contact: Heather Richards, Community Development Director)

 

In other business: 

Heard a presentation from Tonya Moffit from Merina + Co. on Fiscal Year 2024-25 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report.

Discussed DEI Advisory Committee Discussion.

  • Digital comments (email) may be submitted to  the City Recorder Team any time up to 12:00 p.m. the day BEFORE the meeting to CityRecorderTeam@mcminnvilleoregon.gov;
  • Fill out a physical public comment card found at McMinnville City Hall; any time up to 12:00 p.m. the day BEFORE the meeting, but not before 5:00 p.m. on the day the agenda is posted for the following week;
  • Attend in person and fill out a public comment card.
