Wortman Park

2051 NE Lafayette Avenue (east entry) or  250 NE McDaniel Lane (west entry).

Mature fir trees and oaks, 2 miles of hard surface, accessible walking paths throughout, disc golf course, picnic shelter and playground in west Wortman, three picnic patios and playground with adjacent softball field in east Wortman.  Playground equipment serves ages 6-12. Swing set East Wortman serves ages 2-12. Full restroom facilities are available. Dogs must remain leashed (off-leash activity  prohibited). The Wortman family of McMinnville donated funds to help  purchase the initial park property that was thereafter named Wortman Park; soon after, the Koch family who lived adjacent to the park, donated additional acres in 1960, bringing the park to its current 21.43 acres. Major renovations of restrooms, trails, playgrounds and cook-shelter were completed in 2005.
