COUNCIL SNAPSHOT FOR FEBRUARY 24, 2026

The McMinnville City Council met on February 24, 2026 and took the following actions:

REMOVED EXECUTIVE SESSION brought back at a future agenda.

Approved Resolutions:

2026-08: Resolution appointing volunteers to the City’s Landscape Review Committee and Historic Landmarks Committee (Point of Contact: Evan Hietpas, Acting Planning Manager)

2026-10: Resolution appointing a volunteer to the Airport Commission (Point of Contact: John Paskell, Airport Manager)

2026-11: Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract, in a form acceptable to the City Attorney, with Talbot, Korvola & Warwick, LLP for $292,100 for audit services (Point of Contact: Katie Henry, Finance Director)

2026-12: Resolution declaring a vacancy on the City Council and announcing the advertisement for qualified persons for appointment to fill the Ward 3 vacancy (Point of Contact: Claudia Cisneros, City Recorder & David Ligtenberg, City Attorney)

• Written comments may be submitted to the City Recorder Team any time up to 12:00 p.m. the day BEFORE the meeting and mailed to (McMinnville City Hall, c/o City Recorder Team, 230 NE Second Street, McMinnville, OR, 97128);
• Digital comments (email) may be submitted to  the City Recorder Team any time up to 12:00 p.m. the day BEFORE the meeting to CityRecorderTeam@mcminnvilleoregon.gov;
• Fill out a physical public comment card found at McMinnville City Hall; any time up to 12:00 p.m. the day BEFORE the meeting, but not before 5:00 p.m. on the day the agenda is posted for the following week;
• Attend in person and fill out a public comment card.
