In an effort to eliminate Sanitary Sewer Overflows (SSOs) and reduce I/I from the City's sanitary sewer system, the City is contracting out the rehabilitation of failing manholes throughout the system. This work will include, but not be limited to, removing failing grout, rechanneling manholes, stopping infiltration, and sealing the manholes from top to bottom.

The project will have a multi-year contract to rehabilitate as many of the failing manholes as the budget will allow. The City will choose the manholes to be worked on, identified during routine inspections, based on a prioritized schedule.
