Pavement Patching 2026 Information

Project Overview

This project consists of two phases.

The first phase will take place along NW Michelbook LN from Baker Creed RD to 16th street and along NE 27th ST from Baker to McDaniel. In the first phase, the contractor will remove failed sections of existing roadways down to the base section of rock. The base section of rock will be inspected, and a new, thicker section of asphalt will be installed to provide smoother sections of roadway to extend the overall roadway’s life

The second phase will take place along SW Brockwood AVE from Bills to Hilary and will include minor patches along Derby, Emunston, and Cedarwood. In the second phase, the contractor will place a 1” overlay on top of the existing asphalt to extend the life of the roadway and ensure smoother rideability of the travel path.

What to Expect

The pavement patches will be completed in warm, dry weather and patch areas that are opened up will be filled in and completed in the same day. During the repairs, the streets will be down to one lane of alternating traffic with the use of flaggers. Watch for construction signs, no parking signs, and informational public notices prior to, and as the work progresses. Residents will be informed of any required detours a minimum of 48 hours in advance.

Construction Schedule

July / August 2026. Neighborhood notices will be posted prior to the start of construction.
