Community Development Department
The Community Development Department is located at the Community Development Center (231 NE Fifth Street). On-site parking is available.
Current Office Schedule Until Friday, January 2, 2026
- Walk-in office hours are available Monday - Friday, from 12 to 5 pm.
- Appointments (arranged in advance) are available from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday - Friday.
- Email, telephone, and general service hours from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday - Friday.
NEW Office Schedule Effective Monday, January 5, 2026
- Walk-in office hours are available Monday - Thursday, from 7:30am to 5:30pm.
- Office is closed to the public on Fridays.
- Appointments (arranged in advance) are available with CDC staff. Please coordinate directly with the staff person you are interested in meeting with.
- While the Community Development Center’s customer service counter and lobby will be closed on Friday’s, all other programs and services will continue as normal including the availability of CDC staff representatives (via email and phone), inspections, and plan review.
