Labor Contracts

The City of McMinnville values the longstanding relationships with the International Association of Firefighters Local 3099 and the McMinnville Police Association (Teamsters Local 223.) Employees responsible for labor relations (HR and administrative/leadership staff in the Fire and Police Departments) perform the following duties:

• Interpret contracts, rules, and policies
• Bargain and negotiate 
• Hear and resolve grievances
• Consult and coach managers and supervisors
• Review discipline and grievance responses
• Respond to Union requests
