MAAC

(DRAFT-This section is under development.)

The McMinnville Airport Ambassadors Club (MAAC) is a local airport advocacy group supporting pilots, businesses, and other airport users at MMV. The goal of the MAAC is to provide for collective support and advocacy to the McMinnville City Council, organize airport social events, and generally promote a friendly, positive, and collaborative environment between private and public organizations at the airport.

Current Events:

The 2025 All-Airport Halloween Party was a great success with about 30 people showing up to enjoy BBQ chicken, sides and a "Spooky Punch." Costume contests included both human and pet costumes. Mars from Jerry Trimble Helicopters won the human contest with her helicopter mechanic costume, receiving a $20 Visa gift card. Rachelle's dog won the pet costume with his frog outfit, taking home a $20 Petco gift card. Honorable mentions go to Jerry Trimble (Christmas Tree Choke Setter), Jerry and Alison's dog Gus (Donald Trump), and Jodi Baerg (Florida Python Wrangler).

Upcoming Events:

Join us at the "Zulu New Year's Eve" celebration on December 31st at the Pilot's Lounge where we will ring in the New Year in Greenwich, England at midnight, Zulu time (1600 here in McMinnville) and watch the fireworks on TV from London. Check back for more information!
