COUNCIL SNAPSHOT FOR JUNE 10, 2025

The McMinnville City Council met on June 10, 2025 and took the following actions:

Held Public Hearings for:

  • Resolution No. 2025-21: Adopting a Planning and Engineering Fee Schedule and repealing all previous resolutions adopting planning and engineering fee schedules at the time this fee schedule becomes effective.
  • Uses of State Revenue Sharing for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 as approved by the Budget Committee.
  • The Proposed Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Budget as approved by the Budget Committee.
  • Ordinance No. 5162: Extending the duration of the McMinnville Downtown Economic Improvement Assessment District.

 

Approved Ordinances:

Approved Resolutions:

2025-18: Adopting the City’s 2025 Housing Production Strategy (HPS) (Docket #G 4-24). (Point of Contact: Evan Hietpas, Associate Housing Planner)

2025-22: Amending the Professional Services Contract for the ARPA Midtown Basin Stormwater Project 2023-3. (Point of Contact: James Lofton, City Engineer)

 

In other business: 

Heard a presentation for Summer Fun.

Approved request from WHCC2C LLC dba: The Radiant Sparkling Wine Company for Winery, OLCC Liquor License located at 1206 NE 11th Way.

Approved permit a waiver of the noise ordinance from Virna Darling for live music for two family events (Charity Concert & Graduation Party) on June 29, 2025 & July 27, 2025.

Approved the Draft Minutes of the April 16, 2025 City Council Work Session Meeting.

Approved the Draft Minutes of the April 22, 2025 City Council Regular Meeting.

Approved the Draft Minutes of the May 13, 2025 City Council Regular Meeting.

Approved the Draft Minutes of the May 27, 2025 City Council Regular Meeting.

 

Executive Sessions: 

City Council met in TWO Executive Sessions immediately following the Urban Renewal Agency (URA) meeting:

  1. PURSUANT TO ORS 192.660(2)(d): To conduct deliberations with persons designated by the governing body to carry on labor negotiations.
  2. PURSUANT TO ORS 192.660(2)(f): To consider information or records that are exempt by law from public inspection.

  • Individuals may participate online through the Zoom videoconferencing platform; please sign up prior to the meeting by emailing the City Recorder at CityRecorderTeam@mcminnvilleoregon.gov at 503-435-5702, as the chat function is not available when calling in Zoom; once your turn is up, we will announce your name and unmute your mic.  You will need to provide your First and Last name, Address, and contact information (email or phone) to the City Recorder to fill out a comment sheet on your behalf. You do not need to state your address for the record when called to speak. 
  • Attend in person and fill out a public comment card
