City Council Special Called Urban Growth Boundary (UGB) Amendment Public Hearing Meeting

Welcome! A public meeting of the 2003 Urban Growth Bounday (UGB) Remand Project (Ordinance No. 5098 – UGB Amendment (Docket Number G 6-20) of the City of McMinnville, Yamhill County, State of Oregon, will be holding three days of public hearing meetings. Starting Tuesday December 1st at 6pm, Wednesday December 2nd at 6pm and Thursday December 3rd at 6pm, with the first reading of the ordinance read on the December 3rd.
The purpose of the meeting is to receive public comment on the UGB Remand Project. The public is strongly encouraged to relay concerns and comments to the Council. The public will have the following options to submit public comments to Council. Please provide your name, address and a good phone number or email address:
- Submit written public testimony at any time up to 12 p.m. the day of each meeting to Heather.Richards@mcminnvilleoregon.gov or mailed to Heather Richards, 231 NE 5th Street McMinnville, OR 97128 (if mailed it needs to be received to Heather Richards no later than noon on December 3rd to be included in the record).
- Submit written public testimony using the public testimony webform found here: https://www.mcminnvilleoregon.gov/citycouncil/webform/public-comment-webform-2003-urban-growth-boundary-ugb-remand-project.
- Sign up up to speak on one of the designated days prior to the hearing day. You can speak in person or via zoom, please sign up using the webform found here: https://www.mcminnvilleoregon.gov/citycouncil/webform/public-comment-webform-2003-urban-growth-boundary-ugb-remand-project or contacting City Recorder Claudia.Cisneros@mcminnvilleoregon.gov or calling at 503-435-5702.
- Appearing by telephone only please sign up prior to the meeting by contacting the City Recorder at Claudia.Cisneros@mcminnvilleoregon.gov or calling at 503-435-5702 as the chat function is not available when calling in zoom.
- Join the live zoom meeting on day of your choice; send a chat directly to the City Recorder, Claudia Cisneros, to request to speak or use the raise hand feature in zoom, you will need to provide your name, address and phone or email for the record prior to speaking, once that information is provided the city recorder will announce you and be able to unmute your mic.
- You may appear in person to testify, in accordance with Governor Kate Brown's Executive Order 2020-12 seating capacity at Civic Hall, 200 NE Second Street in McMinnville, is quite limited and if we meet capacity we may ask you to leave, after you submit your testimony so others can participate. In the effort to protect the health of our community and provide a safe environment, the City encourages those who do not feel well to stay home, we will ask all to maintain a 6 feet distance and wear a mask at all times while in the building.
