DRUMMING CIRCLE
Do you have a drum? Hand drum or African drum? Drumming is good for the soul, therapeutic, meditating and fun! No experience needed. The instructor has a few extra drums to share in class, bring your own if you have and rattles, chimes, wooden clappers work too.

ART OF THE JOURNAL

FANCY SCHMANCY FASCINATOR HATS/TEA PARTY
Create a one-of a kind fascinator hat that looks just like the ones Catherine, Princess of Wales wears. Participants will use a variety of embellishments such as felt, flowers, jewels, ribbon, tulle to create your own Fascinator headpiece. At the end of class, we will have a tea party donning our pretty and sparkly headwear. No experience necessary, all supplies are included. Register in advance; space is limited.

ALCOHOL INK PENDANTS
Yupo is a synthetic watercolor paper that creates abstract special effects when paint is applied. In this workshop will be creating Abstract Landscape pendants using acrylic inks on Yupo paper. The lesson will include a quick tutorial, applying inks to Yupo, using a view-finder to discover your favorite composition, and adding it to your pendant. Each participant will make 2 stunning abstract pendants. All supplies are included. Register in advance; space is limited.

SERENITY STONE WRAPPING
Stone wrapping is an artform rooted in Maori and Japanese tradition used for tools, guidance along walking paths, and meditation. In this class you will be guided step-by-step in making 2 serenity stones using these traditional techniques, using waxed linen and twine to create intricate patterns on stones. All supplies included. Optional: If you have a special smooth stone 4-8" rounded or oval river rock feel free to bring it! Register in advance; space is limited.

MOSAIC ROCKS
This is a two day class. On day one, participants will add mosaic tile, glass, pottery, and Dragon Tears onto a large round river rock or jaggy quarry rocks. On day two, learn the process of grouting, curing, and sealing our mosaics. This is a super fun and messy class; wear comfy and grubby clothes and closed-toed shoes. All supplies are included. Love reading books and talking about them? The group is open to anyone wishing to attend. Simply read the book and show up for the discussion. WILLAMETTE WATERCOLOR GROUP

CHINA PAINTING
Students from beginner through advanced welcome. Instructor will assist new painters with patterns and enhance your talent. In 6 weeks you will have two finished masterpieces. A supply fee of $10 will be paid to instructor in class that covers materials and firing of art work.
