ADA Self Evaluation and Transition Plan
Self Evaluation & ADA Transition

The City of McMinnville is participating in a Self-Evaluation and ADA Transition Plan, and we’re looking for your input! We’re evaluating the accessibility of our city-owned facilities, services, and programs to see if they meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

We are seeking input from individuals with disabilities, as well as family
members, caregivers, and advocates, to ensure the plan reflects the lived
experience of our community members.

Snow

Planning for a winter storm event can be difficult. The variations in rate of snowfall, moisture content, air/surface temperatures, micro-climates, time of day and wind velocity make each storm a unique challenge.

It is the goal of this plan to establish general policies and procedures that help make travel within the city as safe as possible and to minimize economic hardship during those events.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Community Open House on January 24 and to everyone who submitted comments!

We are reviewing the input we received, and will begin developing a draft preferred alternative based on the input we received.

Check back and watch social media for more information and additional opportunities to participate!

Information about the project is also available on iheartmac.org, the City's Public Engagement Platform.

Concert Crowd

The McMinnville Parks and Recreation Department offers diverse recreational opportunities for McMinnville residents of all ages. These opportunities include aquatic programs, community events and summer concerts, senior/adult programs, special interest classes, and workshops.

Third Street
Third Street is the spine of McMinnville’s beloved downtown - we pride ourselves on saying that it is the outdoor living room where our community can gather. Taking care of our treasured street is a priority.

The City has completed Phase D 30% Design and Engineering.
