COUNCIL SNAPSHOT FOR AUGUST 12, 2025

The McMinnville City Council met on August 12, 2025 and took the following actions:

Approved Resolutions:

2025-45: Participate in the New National Opioids Settlements with Purdue and with Alvogen, Amneal, Apotex, Hikma, Indivior, Mylan, Sun, and Zydus, and authorizing the City Attorney to take all action to effectuate that participation. (Point of Contact: David Ligtenberg, City Attorney)

2025-46: Appointing Adam Garvin to the position of City Manager on an interim basis and authorizing execution of an employment agreement for that appointment. (Point of Contact: David Ligtenberg, City Attorney)

2025-47: Authorizing the execution of a Change Order for the Cypress and Fellows Paving Project 2024-10. (Point of Contact: Jeff Gooden, Project Manager)

2025-48: Adopting an updated edition of the Airport Minimum Standards for Commercial Aeronautical Activities. (Point of Contact: Willy Williamson, Airport Administrator)

In other business: 

Heard staff’s recommendation of draft Explanatory Statement for Culture Parks & Recreation Bond.

• Approved the Draft Minutes of the June 24, 2025 City Council Work Session & Regular Meeting.
• Approved the Draft Minutes of the June 27, 2025 City Council Special Called Meeting.
• Approved the Draft Minutes of the July 08, 2025 Joint City Council & Planning Commission Work Session Meeting.
• Approved the Draft Minutes of the July 08,2025 City Council Regular Meeting.
• Approved the Draft Minutes of the July 16, 2025 City Council Work Session.
• Approved the Draft Minutes of the July 22, 2025 City Council Work Session & Regular Meeting.

PURSUANT TO ORS 192.660(2)(h): To consult with counsel concerning the legal rights and duties of a public body with regard to current litigation or litigation likely to be filed.

You do not need to state your address for the record when called to speak.
