The McMinnville City Council met on August 26, 2025 and took the following actions:
Approved Resolutions:
2025-34: Authorizing the City Manager to sign a contract with Sally Swanson Architects in the amount not- to-exceed $300,000 for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan project. (Point of Contact: Jody Christensen, Specials Project Manager)
2025-49: Awarding the contract for the Community Center Elevator Modernization, Project 2025-05.. (Point of Contact: David Renshaw, PW Operations Supt.)
2025-50: Authorizing the City Manager to Execute a Personal Services Contract with Erskine Law Practice, LLC, to Provide City Prosecutorial Services. (Point of Contact: David Ligtenberg, City Attorney)
Approved Ordinances:
Ordinance No. 5163: Adopting an Update to the McMinnville Municipal Code, Title 11 Airport and Aviation. (Point of Contact: Willy Williamson, Airport Administrator)
Ordinance No. 5164: Amending Chapter 2.28 of the McMinnville Municipal Code to Clarify the Airport Commission Powers and Duties, and Association with Airport Tenants. (Point of Contact: Willy Williamson, Airport Administrator)

- Written comments may be submitted to the City Recorder Team any time up to 12 p.m. the day BEFORE the meeting and mailed to (McMinnville City Hall, c/o City Recorder Team, 230 NE Second Street, McMinnville, OR, 97128);
- Digital comments (email) may be submitted to the City Recorder Team any time up to 12 p.m. the day BEFORE the meeting to CityRecorderTeam@mcminnvilleoregon.gov;
- Individuals may participate online through the Zoom videoconferencing platform; please sign up prior to the meeting by emailing the City Recorder at CityRecorderTeam@mcminnvilleoregon.gov at 503-435-5702, as the chat function is not available when calling in Zoom; once your turn is up, we will announce your name and unmute your mic. You will need to provide your First and Last name, Address, and contact information (email or phone) to the City Recorder to fill out a comment sheet on your behalf. You do not need to state your address for the record when called to speak.
- Attend in person and fill out a public comment card
