COUNCIL SNAPSHOT FOR September 27, 2022

The McMinnville City Council met on September 27, 2022 and took the following actions:

Approved Resolutions:

2022-60: Authorizing City Manager to sign a Professional Services Agreement with Clair Company, Inc. to provide both building inspection and plan review services as needed. (Point of Contact: Heather Richards, Planning Director)

2022-61: Authorizing Mayor to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with YCAP and City of Newberg to the operations of a navigation center both in Newberg and McMinnville called Any/Door Place (Point of Contact: Heather Richards, Planning Director)

2022-62: Authorizing City Manager to sign Amendment #1 to the Navigation Center Construction and Operation Agreement approved by Resolution No. 2022-35 (Point of Contact: Heather Richards, Planning Director)

Approved Ordinances:

5124:  Amending Section 3 Of Ordinance 5119 Declaring A Temporary Ban On Psilocybin Service Centers And The Manufacture Of Psilocybin Products, Referring Such Ordinance To The Voters And Declaring An Emergency. (Point of Contact: Walt Gowell, City Attorney)

5125: Granting A Non-Excusive Telecommunications Franchise To Ziply Fiber Northwest, LLC (“Grantee” Or “Franchisee”).

In other business:

Approved OLCC Liquor License for Moffett Vineyards, LLC dba: Moffett Vineyards for Primary Winery location at 1400 NE Alpha Drive.

Proclaimed September 15 – October 15 as Latinx Heritage Month.

Proclaimed October 7th as McMinnville | MADE Day in conjunction with The National Manufacturing Day.

Heard a presentation from Bill Braack President of the Oregon International Air Show regarding the August International Air Show. 

Finance Director Jennifer Cuellar recognized the Budget Committee for all their commitment during the Budget Cycle.

You do not need to state your address for the record when called to speak.
