2018 Slurry Seal Project

The 2018 Slurry Seal Project will include the areas of Cook, Memorial, and Linfield. Work is scheduled for Monday, July 30th and Tuesday, July 31st.

Slurry seal is a preventative maintenance technique that applies a thin layer of emulsified asphalt and small aggregate to the street surface.  It is typically done on streets in good condition in an effort to keep them in that condition, and typically adds 7-10 years of pavement life.

The City is performing street slurry seal work on approximately 2.9 miles of City streets with a total project cost of approximately $93,460.  There will be no costs related to this work assessed to area residents.

See documents below for more information regarding each project area.
