COUNCIL SNAPSHOT FOR SEPTEMBER 26, 2023

The McMinnville City Council met on September 26, 2023 and took the following actions:

Approved Resolutions:

2023-57: Approving code compliance liens on properties to recover unpaid civil penalty citations. (Point of Contact: Nic Miles, Code Compliance Officer Lead)

Approved Ordinances:

Ordinance No. 5138: Amending Titles 2.50, Code Compliance, and 8.10, Public Nuisances, of the McMinnville Municipal Code. (Point of Contact: Matt Scales, Police Chief)

In other business: 

City Council met in Executive Session prior to the regular meeting pursuant to ORS 192.660(2)(e): To conduct deliberations with persons designated by the governing body to negotiate real property transactions. AND Executive Session pursuant to ORS 192.660(2)(f): To consider information or records that are exempt by law from public inspection.

Proclaimed  October 9th, 2023 as Indigenous People's Day. 

Proclaimed  October 6th, 2023 as McMinnville MADE Day in conjunction with The National Manufacturing Day. 

Proclaimed September 26th, 2023 as Fire Chief Rich Leipfert Day. 

Ceremony for Fire Chief Leipfert Retirement.

Heard a Presentation regarding the McMinnville Economic Development Partnership (MEDP) Annual from Patty Herzog, Executive Director of MEDP. 

Approved OLCC Application request from Abuela's Nuestra Concina Inc. 

Approved OLCC Application request from MAC Plaza LLC.
